United Airlines’ inaugural flight to Tallahassee from Houston arrived at about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, on. United Airlines will provide nonstop flights between Houston and Tallahassee.
Four major carriers are already flying in and out of Tallahassee International Airport because of this recent agreement.
“There have been influences there is no denying about it, but we’re going to do something that we could to started to push the trend in regards to alternatives for our passengers and then do the maximum which we can to monitor the prices,” said David Pollard, TIA’s Aviation Manager.
To greet the first Unified trip, a water cannon salute was conducted. On CRJ200 jet aircraft, individuals flying to and from Houston every day can ride. Today, 25 travelers are arriving, and 15 are going through Tallahassee, and the change means ten new United jobs in the city.
In order to ensure that travel is secure for all, TIA says they have taken drastic COVID-19 steps.
