Turkish Airlines to add additional Flight to Kathmandu from Istanbul

Turkish Airlines, a national flag carrier of Turkey has now all set to add the additional flight to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu Nepal from Istanbul, Turkey.

Turkish Airlines officials for Nepal released the information that Turkish shortly will commence 5 flights per week to Nepal. The addition flights will initiate from September 15.

Currently, Turkish has been operating 4 flights per week with its wide body Airbus A330 series aircraft which can accommodate two hundred and 89 passengers onboard. The airlines has also nabbed the time for Schedule landing and Takeoff from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). Turkish had started its flight operation to Kathmandu from 2013.

Till date report shows that Turkish Airlines has been airlifting 70 % of Tourist and 30% of Nepalese Citizen to their destination from Kathmandu. Turkish Airlines flies to 119 countries, more than any other airline with an operational fleet of ten cargo aircraft. Istanbul Atatürk Airport is its main base, and there are secondary hubs located at Esenboğa International Airport, Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, and Adnan Menderes Airport.
