Last week, Nepal Airlines Corporation added a European-made COBUS 3000 model ramp bus at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). The company purchased ramp buses, belt loader vehicles, minibusses, and other Ground Support Equipment from a foreign country.
Nepal Airlines will operate such buses for transport services to shuttle them from ramp to terminal building. Tribhuvan International Airport’s ground handling has been a big source of revenue for Nepal Airlines.
Nepal Airlines official added, “During a pandemic outbreak, Nepal Airlines brought that equipment which will minimize the ground time for loading and unloading the luggage, baggage, and others”. No further comment has been added by Nepal Airlines official.
Nepal Airlines has purchased two new COBUS 3000 on July 2017.
