Mysterious black out: Passengers of SkyWest Flight 5622lost consciousness

SkyWest Flight 5622 Connecticut bound jetliner, made an emergency landing at Buffalo Niagara International Airport on Wednesday after one of the passenger passed out shortly after takeoff. The airline was heading from Chicago to Connecticut when the incident took place.  The initial log by different news agency reports of, opened cabin door causing loss of pressure but that turned out to be incorrect.

The pilot responded the situation according to the safety procedure by descending rapidly from 28,000 feet to level of at 10,000 feet but no prior warning were given to the passenger.

The FAA said the crew in fact reported the pressure problem and declared an emergency but SkyWest airliner said there was no problem with any equipment on board and the oxygen mask never dropped.

The administrators are still unclear about the actual reason of such emergency decent and landing, either a medical emergency or in fact the pressurization problem. Whatever the cause is the people on board were clearly shaking and may felt like life flash right before their eyes.

The unconscious passenger received an immediate medical attention after touch down at BNIA but the FAA is still investigating.
