Himalaya Airlines, a Nepal-China joint venture, is all set to welcome inaugural flight of Tibet Airlines to Kathmandu from Chengdu today. According to the airline official, the company will be conducting Kathmandu-Chengdu and Chengdu-Kathmandu flights four times a week i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday which will be starting from today (8th August).
Himalaya Airlines is acting as a General Service Agent of Tibet Airlines. The flight from Kathmandu to Chengdu will be departing at 19:25 local time today and expected to reach Chengdu at 00:50+1.
The company welcomed Tibet Airlines Airbus A319 at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) after the Chengdu-Kathmandu bound test flight successfully landed at around 5:12 pm local time on 19th June, 2017. The test flight landed along with the officials and test flight teams from Tibet Airlines.
Himalaya Airlines is a proud owner of three Airbus A320s and is currently conducting scheduled flights to four destinations namely Dubai, Doha, Kuala Lumpur and Yangon. Now, the airline has extended its wings in collaboration with Tibet Airlines.
