Govt hikes fuel prices; ATF goes up by Rs5 per liter

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) for domestic airlines by 5 rupees as it stands Rs90 per litre whereas international airline should pay $100 more for per kiloliter of ATF which makes it $1000.

Likewise, the price of petrol is increased by one rupee to Rs104 per liter and that of diesel and kerosene by two rupees per litre to Rs 83 per litre each.

Board of directors of corporations meeting decided to increase the price of Air fuel along with petrol, diesel, and kerosene. The decision was taken as the fuel price increased in international market.

NOC had increased price of fuels just couple of weeks ago.

Oil prices rose Thursday after an unexpected fall in U.S. gasoline stocks amid strong demand, although the country’s growing crude output helped keep a lid on the increase.
