Druk Air A320 Neo landed Paro International Airport with Bhutanese students from India.

The Druk Air flight, A5-JKW Airbus A320 landed yesterday (28 March 2020) at the Paro International Airport with Bhutanese students studying in Lovely Professional University in Punjab, India. They boarded the flight from Chandigarh. It was not an evacuation flight but it was operated on payment basis for which the airfare was same as a regular Druk Air Flight. “Chandigarh International Airport Limited provided all possible help in the smooth operation of a Druk Air special flight on March 28, from Chandigarh to Paro in Bhutan,” an airport official.

Druk Air first Airbus A320 was registered as A5-JKW, in honour of His Majesty The King. The registration was done on February 21, coinciding with the 40th birth anniversary of His Majesty The King. The aircraft was departed from Toulouse on 17 March 2020 and landed Paro International Airport on 19 March 2020.
