Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has approved the flight schedule of Nepalgunj-Delhi route for Buddha Air to be implemented from January 1, 2019.
Earlier, Buddha Air requested Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) to approve the carrier to operate 3 flights daily at 6:30am morning, 1 pm at afternoon and 5:10 pm evening.
With the request of the MoCTCA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent letter to the Indian government to allow Buddha Air to operate Delhi flights from Nepalgunj. According to press release, Buddha Air has been undergoing intensive effort for the initiation of Nepalgunj-Delhi flights.
There is wide movement of Airlines and tourists, passengers from around the world at Delhi. Keeping this in mind, Buddha Air has been corresponding various companies for studying and implementing interline and GDS (Global Distribution System) for regional ticket sales.
From this flight, people of the Western and Far-Western will be directly benefited. Bardiya, Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve, Manorama Himalaya, Khaptad, Sworgaduwari Rara, Tilicho lake will also attract more tourists. Shortly after the initiation of Nepalgunj-Delhi flights, Buddha Air will also operate the daily flight flight from Nepalgunj to Pokhara.
